The Apollo WB670 marine hideaway stereo inherits key audio innovations and technological brilliance from Apollo RA670, reengineered in a compact, space-saving form factor designed to simplify dash space. Save space at your console by controlling all of your zones using a compatible multifunction display (MFD), a Fusion remote, or a smart device.
How Does a Hideaway Stereo Work?
If the stereo is hidden away, how can it be controlled? This is a great question. There will be three main connections required for this stereo to work. The first one, of course, is power. This stereo requires a 12-volt power connection to give it juice. The second will be the speaker wire output to your speakers. Included in the box is a wiring harness to power two different zones, where the third zone will need an additional zone amplifier to power the speakers. The final required connection will be either a NEMA 2000 cable or an ethernet cable to create a "network" of connected devices.
Airplay 2
This feature sends Hi-Fi audio quality to your speakers by using an onboard router, or by turning on the built-in WiFi access point. You can now send different (or the same) audio to different zones in the boat. Connect the WB670 Marine Hideaway Stereo via ethernet to a WiFi router and take control. Completely compatible with VSSL amplifiers.
Multi-Function Display (MFD)
The Apollo line connects to a Garmin multifunction display to control all of your entertainment using your boat's NEMA 2000 network.
IPX7 Element Proof
Install this stereo anywhere, even underwater if you want. With an IPX7 rating, this stereo can be submerged in up to one meter of water.
3 Zones of Audio
Power up to 3 different areas of music with just one stereo. Connect speakers in the V-berth, cockpit, and salon and control each zone independently.
